Head to a grocery store and build a full dinner course by course, each of you grabbing something on the count of three. Whatever you both pick, you go with it, however mismatched it turns out. Then take it home and eat the chaos.
The moments
Pick a drink on three
Stand back to back or facing each other, count down, and each grab a drink at the same time. Whatever you both end up with, you're committed to it.
Round up an appetizer and an entree
Repeat the countdown for each course. Surprise grabs from the freezer section are fair game, and no vetoes unless something is truly inedible.
Finish with a dessert
Do one last countdown for something sweet. Laugh at the combos and see if any of your picks happen to match.
Cook and eat your odd dinner
Head home, heat everything up, and plate it like a fancy tasting menu. Rate each course together.
